Luk 21:25-28 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
I don’t know about you, but many times I am tossed as to what to pray for. I see people praying for safety in the world. We see the storms, earthquakes and mess that this world is becoming because of the bad weather, the garbage, the chemicals that are getting spilled. We hear scientist claiming if we don’t do something right now then our world will become a terrible place where we can not live anymore.
Now we have the fear of the Covid-19 virus, and it is causing kayos all around the world. People are not able to go to work or school and much the world is closing events and even work. What are we supposed to do?
I don’t know about you, but I notice that God knew this was going to happen. Instead of fear aren’t we supposed to rejoice, not because this is good for us, but because they are signs that the end time is near. And we know when that happens that Jesus will return.
When I was younger, I kept saying the end of the world is coming are you ready? I am. I have Jesus and I know where I will be. And ever since my mother had passed away, I keep reminding myself, a lifetime is just the beginning. There is a lot more to come.
